Your Sales Representative and our Training Services Manager will consult with you to plan and budget your Knowledge Transfer requirements. These will be tailored to meet your specific circumstances. Based on our experience we feel a combination of computer slideshows, online users guides, conference calls, face-to-face training, and internet based training using tools such as Web Demo and Web Interactive are the most effective and cost efficient processes.

dbcSMARTsoft contains extensive functionality. Depending on the size of your company, complexity of operations, multiple business types, scope of planned software usage, number of personnel to be trained, and the experience and background of your personnel; the number of sessions and the type of sessions will vary. Our goal is to mutually arrive at a plan that fits your goals and your budget.

Based on our recent customer survey (conducted by an independent consultant) 85% of the respondees felt that the duration of training was correct, 15% felt it was too short, no-one felt it was too long. Additionally, 65% of the respondents wanted follow-up training on new releases to take full advantage of the new modules/features.
Introductions, Planning, Scheduling
  Conference call to introduce the respective parties, set expectations, discuss deliverables and confirm schedules and participants for the following steps.
Pre-Training Deliveries
  Computer slideshows that illustrate typical Table and Profile setups and activities such as Contracts / Tickets/ Settlements/ Positions/ Report & Queries.
  Delivery of CD containing licensed software, on-line manuals and slideshows per above.
  Delivery of printed User Manuals
Getting Started - On-line
  Conference call or call and Internet training using tools such as ‘WebDemo’ to provide basic instruction on Table/Profile setup. Note that tools other than ‘WebDemo’ can be used but they may incur an additional charge from the supplier. The telephone call for verbal instruction to be initiated by the customer.
  Multiple sessions can be scheduled
Face-to-Face Training (On-site or dbc Office)
  Sample course content for different business types

  For on-site training, travel time & expenses are billed separately.
Post Face-to-Face Training (Follow-up)
  Conference call or call and Internet training for follow-up or to address issues not covered due to time constraints in Face-to-Face training.
  Creation of workflow documents specific to your business.
  Procedure documents for specific scenarios.
