The Pricing module
works in conjuction with the Sales Order Processing
module (SOP). You can determine which products appear
in the a price list - later, as SOP orders are created,
these sell-prices appear on-screen automatically. Users
can change these pricing defaults (although a Price
Override report exists, to provide an audit trail).
Furthermore, a "price relationship" matrix
can be defined, segmenting groups of customers and groups
of products into discount categories (for example, a
retail customer may pay a full price for a bag of seed,
while "wholesalers" may get a 5% discount
for the same item).
Pre-defined sell-prices
speed up order entry.
Special "promotional"
prices can be displayed for a given time period.
Auto-calculate sell-prices,
based on "cost + percentage" or "cost
+ dollars" .
Prices can be based on inventory
cost or standard/replacement cost.
