Unique in the marketplace,
the Inventory Costing application addresses the requirements
of commodities, commodity ingredients and non-commodities
integrated completely into a single software module.
Costing methods include Weighted Average, FIFO, Standard
and Lot controlled products both at On-Site and Off-Site
facilities.
Activities such as receipts, sales, adjustments, transfers
in, transfers out, physical counts, production usage,
production receipts create inventory transactions which
update inventory balances for each of these categories.
New opening/closing balances are created for each day
to permit General Ledger update by day and the ability
to view any day or date range interval. The user can
drilldown to all detailed transactions then further
drilldown to the individual ticket costing and ticket
source data. Both for On-site and Off-site inventory.
This is a complete Inventory Control module with quantities
and costs. We refer to it as Inventory Costing to differentiate
it from Position Management which includes quantities
only. Commodity/Products can be flagged for Inventory
Costing only, Position Management only, or both or neither. |
